Screening Preparation

​When you come for your screening, it is important that your body temperature will be as stable as possible.  For this reason you should not do the following, a minimum of 2 hours beforehand:
 

  • No hot or icy cold drinks

  • No coffee or caffeinated drinks that might make you feel hot

  • No alcohol

  • No smoking

  • No food

  • No chewing gum

  • No hot showers or baths

  • Do not use creams, lotions, deodorants or powder on your breasts or surrounding areas

  • No shaving of armpits on the day of the screening, the day before is fine

  • No sunbathing/ sun bed 2 days before

  • No sauna

  • Diet - No changes necessary

  • Medicines - No changes necessary


Also: do not wear any

  • Deodorant

  • Body lotion

  • Face creams (if we have to make a screening of the face)

​Please wear something nice and loose and no bra - you can take the bra with you to put on after the screening.
